Steve has extensive experience in a wide range of civil litigation. He came to the Bar as a respected solicitor, having trained and worked at Simpson & Marwick in Edinburgh.

Steve acts on behalf of both Pursuers and Defenders, appearing in the Court of Session (Inner House appeals and Outer House cases) and the Sheriff Court. Within his Personal Injury practice, Steve is instructed in a broad range of cases, including employers' liability, occupiers' liability, road traffic accidents, occupational stress, industrial diseases, clinical negligence and fatal accident cases. He is experienced in the quantification and settlement of catastrophic claims.
