Sumburgh Fatal Accident Inquiry Hearing Gets Underway
The Fatal Accident Inquiry hearing into the deaths of four passengers on a helicopter carrying offshore workers near Sumburgh in August 2013 commenced today. The Inquiry is set down for 4 weeks and is taking place virtually before Sheriff Principal Derek Pyle.
Compass members Peter Gray QC, Gavin Anderson, Susan Duff, Barry Smith, Emma Toner, David Adams and Ranald Macpherson are all instructed for various parties to the Inquiry.
