Sumburgh FAI
A virtual preliminary hearing has taken place this morning in relation to the Fatal Accident Inquiry into the deaths following the helicopter crash in Sumburgh in 2013. The FAI had been scheduled to commence on 18 May in Inverness and required to be discharged as a result of the Covid-19 outbreak. The full FAI will now begin on 31 August this year and will be conducted remotely. A further virtual preliminary hearing is expected to take place prior to that time.
