Claire Mitchell picked up a Special Recognition Award for her contribution to legal thinking at the Law Awards of Scotland event on 12th September. The Law Awards were celebrating their 10th anniversary and Claire's was one of 3 given out to mark the anniversary. Details of other winners on the night can be found here.
It was a complete surprise to Claire, but despite that she gave an acceptance speech which led host Des Clarke to suggest that she should be the next First Minister!
