M9 Fatal Accident Inquiry Commences
The Fatal Accident Inquiry into the deaths of Lamara Bell and John Yuill gets underway in Falkirk Sheriff Court today. Mr Yuill and Ms Bell lay undiscovered by the side of the M9 after their car came off the road. It took police three days to attend the scene after a farmer had reported the accident in 2015. Mr Yuill had died and Ms Bell died in hospital later.
Members of Compass Chambers are appearing for a number of parties at the Inquiry with Murdo Macleod KC, Amber Galbraith KC, Gavin Anderson KC, Emma Toner, David Adams, Carla Fraser and Elaine Smith all involved.
