Grant Markie takes on 85 mile Etape Caledonia to raise funds for CHAS
Grant Markie is cycling the Etape Caledonia on 10th May and will be raising money for CHAS - Children's Hospices Across Scotland, who are our nominated charity once again this year.
Grant is doing the 85 mile course which begins in Pitlochry and consists of rolling hills and forest-lined roads around Loch Rannoch and Loch Tummel, combined with the demanding, twisting 5 mile climb of Mt Schiehallion.
CHAS are a children's charity providing unwavering care for children who may die young and their families across the whole of Scotland. They make it possible for children to have the freedom to be themselves, play outside, laugh, sparkle, smile, and have treasured moments of joy. CHAS are committed to making sure that no matter how short their time may be, it is a time filled with happiness and fun.It is a very important year for CHAS as their major £17m renovation of Rachel House begins.
We would be very grateful for any donations to support Grant in his fundraising efforts. Donations can be made through Grant’s Just Giving page here- https://www.justgiving.com/page/grant-markie-3?utm_medium=FA&utm_source=CL.
