Compass Members in the Supreme Court
Andrew Smith QC, Kay Springham QC and Jillian Martin Brown have appeared at the Supreme Court this week in the case of Khan v General Pharmaceutical Council. Andrew Smith QC was representing the General Medical Council as Interveners in the case. Kay Springham QC and Jillian Martin-Brown were appointed at the request of the Supreme Court itself as ‘Advocate to the Court’.
At the conclusion of the hearing, the court recalled the Interlocutor of the Inner House and quashed the decision of the Committee. A written decision will be issued shortly. Details of the case can be found on the Supreme Court website here.
