Angela Grahame KC awarded Honorary Doctorate by Edinburgh Napier University
Compass Chambers are delighted to announce that Angela Grahame KC has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate by Edinburgh Napier University for her remarkable law career.
Angela was formally named a Doctor of the University during a graduation ceremony for students from Edinburgh Napier University's Buiness School at Edinburgh's Usher Hall on Wednesday 29th October.
The laureation was given by Professor Richard Whitecross, Head of Law at Edinburgh Napier University. He said “Angela has a place among the most accomplished lawyers of her time, but her career is not defined by titles, but by her determination to ensure that justice is not an abstract principle but a lived reality for those who depend on it.
“Angela has also contributed extensively to legal education and the development of future generations of advocates. She has lectured, mentored and inspired countless students, trainees and devils, instilling in them not only the skills of advocacy, but also the professional values of integrity, service and humanity.
“Her efforts have been instrumental in ensuring that the Scottish Bar is open and accessible to talented individuals regardless of their background."
