Yvonne Waugh

PRACTICE:
Before coming to the Bar, Yvonne was a solicitor in private practice for eleven years. Her principal fields of practice include:-
- Personal Injury
- Professional Negligence
- Insurance Litigation
- Health and Safety and Environmental Prosecutions
Yvonne specialises in reparation and represents both defenders and pursuers in the Court of Session and Sheriff Courts.
She undertakes regulatory work, in particular prosecutions in health & safety and environmental cases. She is also instructed as defence Counsel in both summary and solemn prosecutions for clients in the oil and gas, construction and insurance sectors.
Yvonne also appears in Fatal Accident Inquiries and advises on health & safety issues. She has represented developers in contaminated land actions, oil and gas companies in respect of oil spill and unauthorised release of carbon prosecutions.
In addition she has experience in professional negligence actions.
