PRACTICE:
Robin came to the Bar as an experienced solicitor of 8 years, having trained with Morton Fraser and latterly having been an Associate in Dundas and Wilson’s Insurance Litigation Department. His principal fields of practice include:-
- Personal Injury
- Professional and Medical Negligence
- Commercial Litigation
Since coming to the Bar, Robin has drawn on his past experience as a solicitor representing many in the Insurance industry. He specialises in Personal Injury litigation and now represents both Pursuers and Defenders, where he regularly receives instructions from many of the leading firms in this area.
He also has experience in other areas of civil litigation, including professional negligence claims, property and contract disputes and employment law. He has also appeared as an ad hoc Advocate Depute in the High Court. Robin has a special interest in Employer's Liability and Medical Negligence claims.PUBLICATIONS AND SEMINARS:
Since coming to the Bar, Robin has delivered regular seminars, particularly on personal injury matters, to solicitors. He has also spoken at Central Law Training events.
