Senior Clerk
The key to providing a proper and efficient service to clients is that the clerk knows the capability and strengths of all counsel within chambers.
Irene Mackenzie, as Senior Clerk in Compass Chambers, has an extensive knowledge of where those strengths lie.
She has considerable experience of dealing with all aspects of clerking and has been instrumental in the development of Compass Chambers. She is in an excellent position to judge what prospective work involves and is able to advise which counsel are most suited to undertake that work.
Solicitors and other clients are actively encouraged to discuss fees in advance. Fee agreements can be entered into at an early stage in proceedings in order that clients understand fully what the cost will be.
