Robin has specialised in personal injury and clinical negligence claims throughout his career.

He regularly appears for both Pursuers and Defenders in the Court of Session and the National Personal Injury Court. Robin has a particular speciality in fatal clinical negligence claims. He has extensive experience across the full spectrum of personal injury cases including road traffic accidents, employers’ liability and catastrophic injury cases. He has received a Band 1 Rating in the latest edition of the Legal 500 directory for Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence.

Robin also has experience in other areas of civil litigation, including fatal accident inquiries, professional negligence claims, property and contract disputes and valuation for rating. He has also appeared as an ad hoc Advocate Depute in the Sentence Appeal Court in the High Court.
