Robin came to the Bar as an experienced solicitor of 8 years. Since coming to the Bar, Robin has drawn on his past experience as a solicitor representing many in the Insurance industry.
He specialises in Medical Negligence and Personal Injury litigation where he regularly receives instructions from many of the leading firms in this area.
He also has experience in other areas of civil litigation, including fatal accident inquiries, professional negligence claims, property and contract disputes, valuation for rating and employment law. He has also appeared as an ad hoc Advocate Depute in the Sentence Appeal Court in the High Court. Robin has a particular interest in Employer's Liability and Medical Negligence claims.
